The Inspiration
I first became interested in photography when I worked a summer in Colorado. I focused on nature, and hiked with my camera every day off. When I had kids, I realized we humans are the greatest expression of God's creativity and picked the camera back up. Photographic Memories was born out of my passion for catching that creativity in the midst of everyday life, not just in my home, but in my clients' homes, where they play, and in the places where they're most at ease--a living room, a neighborhood playground, a favorite haunt, but never a rush-you-in-rush-you-out, canned studio setting. I want to capture natural light, natural emotion, natural moments. Raw life that you can hold in your hand for years to come.
